Lets Blame Someone Else
Friday, March 4th, 2005Heres the scenario… I play Grand Theft Auto and I love it. Now, I get busted for driving a stolen car and I get taken into the Police Station. Inside I grab a gun from an officer and shoot three people dead. Then, I get arrested (if I’m lucky) or shot dead (if I’m not). At this point, I say “Life is a video game. You’ve got to die sometime”. In the meantime, the families of two of the three people who were shot hire some dumbass lawyer with a reputation for claiming that video games make kids do these things (you know who you are) who proceeds to sue the shops who sold the games and the publishers of said games. And the basis for this claim… “they are all responsible for ‘teaching’ me how to kill” (more…)
